My Varna 2 bike was stolen from outside a pub in York on Friday July 21st. It was locked and the
cable was cleanly cut. There were other bikes not touched. I guess it was a professional job and
the bike just looked interestingly expensive. So be warned but I don't know what we can do.
In the event of anyone coming across a dodgy sale please will you let me know. The bike has been
customised with additional triangulation on the camber bar. It has crutch carriers and further close
inspection will also show fittings that probably make it unique. When stolen it was dark metallic
blue (a respray). It was well used and the parts on it at the time were not high spec so the frame is
all that is worth much - I would like it back as we've shared lots of miles and experiences.

| My black 16" XLT pro was stolen
yesterday from my flat in Nottingham. One distinctive
feature was that it had my racing chair wheels on it (including
tyre covered push rims - an interim measure, but very
annoying as now I can use neither my bike or race chair...!).
I realise that this is a major
long shot, but if anyone hears of any bikes that come
up for sale with 'dubious background' or anything else
looking dodgy - please let me know.
I hope that this is a one-off and that
no-one else experiences such a loss.
