I have a  Praschberger Speedbike, complete with full gears, seat ,frame, wheels, adjustable back. I would like to sell it.

I bought it from Spokes'n motion, based in USA.    It has never been used as it is unsuitable for me.

The original price was $5700+$275 for shipping, (£4267).   I will accept a lower price. I have the original receipt.

My phone no. is 01274- 497128.   Please contact Boi Das at boidas@hotmail.comPraschberger

Force Handbike (listed 12/5/09)

Please read about a brand new Force handbike I am offering for sale.  The bike was built by me and has never been riden other than to set up the derailleurs.  The circumstances of how I c

ome to have it are that my existing Force bike frame was one of a suspect batch first produced by Invacare and as a result they decided to give  the owners of that batch new frames to replace their suspect ones.  I thought about selling the first one but felt that I did not want the responsibility of passing on a potentially suspect frame so I will keep that one and sell the new one which I have built to a higher spec than the original Top End spec. using quality parts from reputable manufacturers.  This of course means it is brand new except for the hand grips which are spare ones off the first bike and are as new.

This Force bike has been built with the following equipment:- Shimano Deore derailleurs, Shimano chainrings, Shimano cassette 11 - 34 (giving a good range for speed and hill climbing) ,Shimano 105 brakes, Phil Wood hubs rear and Shimano Deore front hub, Velocity Deep Vee rims with 28 spokes and matching blue colour, Continental Gator skin tyres.

To view the bike on line click here and you can see what a great machine this is

All in all its a very pretty bike and by comparison if you were to go for a standard Force from Invacare Top End the price they are asking currently is $4295 before shipping and import duties.  This is equivalent to £2948 before shipping and import.   I am looking for £2200.

See: http://www.topendwheelchair.com/Handcycles/Top-End-Force-Handcycle-pid21.html and http://www.topendwheelchair.com/PDF/orderForm/ord121200915658.pdf for comparison.

Bikes for sale (listed 14/3/09)

Top End XLT Pro Excelerator 27 Speed £850ono

Spec includes 16” Seat, XT Rear mech, Ultegra STI levers, V Cranks, Travel Ready Frame, Continental Gatorskin Tyres on 26” (650c) spoked wheels. The bike is fantastic working order, the frame is as new, the other frame components are well battle scarred but a coat of paint would sort and doesn’t affect the performance of the bike.

Top End Racing Wheelchair

14” seat 13” upper frame width. V Cage kneeler or footplate (not included). Its an aero frame model with raked front fork but not the latest OSR Model. Fitted wit 700c tubular spoked mavic rear wheels and 20” front wheel. £450ono

Varna 2 Wheeler Handbike. £1500 or offers  http://bike-on.com/itemdetails.cfm?id=1177

I am reluctantly listing this because I hoped to do so much with it but its gathering dust due to lack of spare time, work and family commitments. Its was custom designed and made via Double Performance and Varna Research and Innovation at huge cost. It has done less than 100miles and is as new. It was intended to be a mountain bike with huge potential to go off road on country lanes inaccessible to normal handcycles. But I think it also has potential for road or track racing and I have fitted it with slick skinny race tyres. Obviously this machine requires skills BUT we have ridden the bike very successfully, it is well balanced, easy to carve / turn and huge fun! Spec includes: Alexis Wheels 26” (559), Disc brakes front and back, Shimano gearing including rapid fire changers, Bull horn cranks (currently fitted with 500mm wide 200 long but also have super wide 700mm 250mm long too), It is presently is set up with a knee seat and works very well in this position. But could be set up for feet forward riding if kneeling didn’t suit.

Any trial welcome, I am based in Leeds. I will be attending some of the races / events this year so potential to try them there.

I'm looking to sell my Quickie Shark S in the new year. I'm waiting on buying another bike and expect to take delivery January/February 09 time.

This is a two piece bike for easy storage (will fit into a Vauxhall Astra estate without folding down the seats) and can be assembled very quickly with a little practice.

The bike is currently set up with the recumbant back as you see with most Sharks, but I also have a short long seat back for riders who have good trunk movement and whom wish to sit more up right.

Am looking to sell for £1200.00 or nearest offer.

I live in Caerphilly, Wales - a stones throw from Cardiff and am more than happy to meet for anyone wishing to try out the bike. Have a great cycle track close by for testing.

For pictures and further information email me on john-osborne@hotmail.co.uk or give me a ring on 07866 424365.

Hope to hear from interested parties soon!

John.
